Be prepared and get the most out of your training

Planning Ahead

Here are some general considerations which will help you as you prepare for your course and trip to Abu Dhabi.

Book ahead of time

We recommend that you complete all your course registration formalities, UAE visa applications (see below) and flight and hotel bookings well in advance to secure your own peace of mind. Please remember that during peak season (between November and April), hotels in Abu Dhabi may be booked to capacity due to various events and exhibitions.

Apply for your UAE visa

Travellers from many countries are eligible to receive visas upon arrival in the United Arab Emirates. Find out if you need to apply for a visa before your arrival here.   We recommend that you also check with your travel agent for the latest updated visa requirements. If you do require a pre-arranged visa, please contact our Training Operations team, who will send you a visa invitation letter. Please remember that it can take between 7 and 14 working days for your visa to be approved.

Pack wisely

It is advisable to check the local weather conditions over the period that your course is scheduled to ensure that you pack accordingly. Summers can be extremely hot, while winters tend to be quite cold in the evenings.

Get the most out of your course

In the interests of your training session being as productive and enjoyable as possible, we encourage you to put aside daily distractions such as telephone calls, emails and meetings.  Of course, you should enjoy Abu Dhabi after training hours too!
