Air Cargo Acceptance and Handling Course - STP

This is a TRAINAIR Plus Standardised Training Package which provides cargo agents with the necessary knowledge and skills required to accept and handle cargo appropriately in an efficient and safe manner according to the TACT Rules and other regulatory manuals i.e. Dangerous Goods Regulation (DGR) and Live Animals Regulations (LAR).

Joseph B. Voluntad
Joseph B. Voluntad

Joseph joined the Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies in April 2011 as a Cargo Specialist. His role includes designing, implementing and delivering training courses based on Airport and Airline Cargo Operations standards. He specializes in Basic Cargo Courses, Live Animals Regulations, Dangerous Goods Regulations and Special Cargo Handling.

A university graduate with nineteen years experience in the airline industry, he started his career working with a major carrier in the Southeast Asian region as Cargo Agent and Training Officer.  He moved to Emirates Aviation College under Emirates Airline in 2007 as a Learning and Development Specialist.

Qualifications:

  • IATA “distinction” certificate for Dangerous Goods Regulations
  • Professional Development for Trainers qualification from the U.K.’s Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM)
  • TRAINAIR PLUS Training Developers Course and co-design of the first Standardized Package making him a TRAINAIR PLUS Course Developer
