Dangerous Goods Regulations GCAA FIT 4.1.D - Abu Dhabi venue

The main objective of this course is to provide Dangerous Goods Regulations training based on the new CBTA (Competency Based Training & Assessment approach) as mandated by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA). and will provide the knowledge, skills & attitude to process or accept dangerous goods as per the current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations.

“Personnel responsible for processing or accepting dangerous goods consignments” or accepting mail containing dangerous goods or personnel nominated by their employer to meeting the GCAA Dangerous Goods Certification requirements or personnel performing the functions of Dangerous Goods Post Holder for Air Operators including “no-carry” Air Operators, Ground Handling Agents, Helicopter Operators, Designated Postal Operators, Freight Forwarders and Packaging Suppliers - as per GCAA Function in table 4.1.D.

Processing/accepting cargo

Course Prerequisite (s)

It is recommended that students have completed a secondary school education or equivalent. A good understanding of English, and basic mathematics is essential.
